Marie-Claude Desrosiers is a Canadian lawyer and certified translator who has extensive experience in legal practice and translation.
A native of the Province of Québec, Marie-Claude is a member of the Ontario and New Brunswick Bars and has practised public law in Ottawa and New Brunswick. She is a certified member of the Corporation of Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters of New Brunswick and the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (affiliate), and a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Canadian Association of Legal Translators.
Marie-Claude is a graduate of Université de Moncton (B.Transl., LL.B.) and Ogoode Hall Law School (LL.M., Administrative Law, 2015). In 2022, she lectured at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, on the role of judicial translation in the dissemination of judgments. She is also the co-author of a primer on British maritime law published by Éditions Yvon Blais.
